Work on the construction of the temple began in 1861 designed by Henryk Marconi. During the design cue on the existing church of St. renaissance. Justyna in Padua. The church was dedicated 31 October 1883 by Archbishop Vincent Popiela. There was then a completely finished yet - only in 1892 began the construction of towers. During the war, defense in September 1939, was slightly damaged. During the German occupation was one of three Christian churches, which were in the ghetto (the second such temple is the church of St. Augustine, a third of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church). All Saints Church served the Christians of Jewish origin, who were held in the ghetto. At the time of the ghetto, the parish priest, Fr. Godlewski Marceli prelate known for his antipathy to the Jews of pre-, was involved in helping them. At the rectory at the parish priest found shelter among others, prof. Ludwik Hirszfeld. In 1942, the church found itself on the other side of the ghetto wall. He was greatly destroyed during the Warsaw Uprising, during the walk. Then burned down a number of valuable paintings. After the war, he rebuilt the church, but ideological reasons it was surrounded by high buildings that block the house is not dominant in that area.
